The Czechoslovak Talks is a project that embraces the life stories of Czechoslovaks around the world – the stories of the personal ups and downs, the opportunities and obstacles, and especially the life experiences that we would like to preserve for future generations.

Do you live abroad but come from Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic, or Slovakia?

Do you or does someone you know have an interesting life story that should not be forgotten?

Join The Czechoslovak Talks.

Your story will not be forgotten

The Czechoslovak Talks was created in 2016 by the Dotek Endowment Fund. This endowment has supported the development of relations between Czech and Slovaks living abroad and Czech and Slovak institutions since 2008.

We have had the chance to meet many Czechoslovaks from around the world who have told their life stories, and these stories should not be forgotten. Hence, a separate project was created that involves recording these stories and preserving them for future generations.

We collect stories about family destinies, their personal ups and downs, opportunities and obstacles, and especially life experiences. We will gradually publish the stories on our web pages. Selected stories will be adapted for other forms of publication.
